I replaced hard disk drive of my MacBook Pro which I use for Traktor with 500GB HGST drive.

Every time I tear down this MBP (not unibody), lots of screws annoy me so much. I refered to iFixit, and replaced the internal hard drive with new one. It has enough space to store original audio data for mixing songs (I guess about 10,000 songs in wave format). I know there was a choice for more storage. 500GB is reasonable price at this time. And I like HGST (HITACHI brand), it's quiet and much reliable.

Pablo is trackmaker from UK who creates various type of tracks based on hiphop method, especially sampling technology.

In this album, as the title meant, he utilised turntable for making elements of songs. The song "The story of sampling" is very anthem tune of sampling track making. Hiphop headz will absolutely nod their head on the track which was constructed with samples chopped from lots of hiphop classics.

I think most of songs in this album is totally good, but I recommend you to buy this album only for "The story of sampling".

J88's "Best Kept Secret" is a hidden and underrated album of J Dilla's best works. (J88 is alias of Slum Village)

If you never heard this album and hear the song "Look of love", you will be impressed with the melancholic guitar riff sample on rugged simple breakbeats.

Next generation represent of Japanese hiphop scene, Fullmember released the album "006".

They know how hiphop should be done, what true hiphop method is. And they are still doing their own thing.

As they did in previous album, 3MCs showed and proved mic skills, and 1DJ creates smooth and tight beats with genuine equation. I guess old hiphop fans will nod head on tracks "Slow Motion", "90-09" which sound like gold rush of underground hiphop around mid 90's.

006 progressed more than ever, but I prefer the previous album "Footprints".

I was very excited when I was looking around vinyl stores and found instrumental album or instrumental track on promo which was limited press and hard to get.

Recently promo releases and instrumental albums are frequently officially released, compiled or bootlegged. These kind of records or CDs are not premium thing any more, but this instrumental album is worth to buy because instrumental tracks in this album are sophisticated complete songs.

All hiphop and downtempo music fans should buy.
