Installing GNU Screen on Mac OS X 10.5 failed while its make process.

It shows errors that say "warning: 'utmp' is deprecated". The patch of MacPorts resolves this problem.

With this patch, you can make install though it still occurs some utmp errors.

I replaced Mac OS X Server 10.4 with Mac OS X 10.5 in Mac mini (Core Duo).

Then I needed set up named (BIND) manually, but named is disabled as default. You have to execute the command below.

# sudo launchctl load -w org.isc.named.plist.

This boots up named and enables named settings in the plist (/System/Library/LaunchDaemons/org.isc.named.plist)

And do not forget to make rndc.key before starting up named.

# rndc-confgen -a

This makes rndc.key in /etc/ directory.

If you deleted pre-released version of Adobe CS4 app manually or failed to uninstall, you will see the error "Beta or pre-release versions installed" while initializing install script.

Trial License of Adobe DreamWeaver CS4 has been expired.

DreamWeaver 4 was officially released, but it will be shipped on Dec. 1st, 2008.

If you used CS4 beta and added site settings in CS4, you will be in trouble with those site settings. You can copy site preferences from the directory

/Users/YourName/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Common/10/Sites/Site Prefs

Just copy it and paste it in

/Users/YourName/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Common/9/Sites
